Slow Cooker Applesauce
Crock Pot Applesauce – Homemade apple sauce doesn’t get easier than using your slow cooker!! Nothing beats homemade apple sauce, making it in the crock pot is easy and your house will smell divine while the apples and cinnamon simmer all day long.
This slow cooker applesauce recipe from Skinny Taste is genuinely spectacular. It has such a bright flavor! T and I experimented with several different applesauce recipes and this was the clear winner. It’s also crazy simple. Every year the day after our annual trip to the Apple Orchard we come straight home and start a pot of this. It’s amazing.
Slow Cooker Chili
Slow Cooker Chili is one of my all time most popular recipes, come fall and winter thousands of people make it every day! And for good reason, this is the best crockpot chili around! It’s incredibly flavorful, it’s packed with protein and perfectly hearty, plus it’s a dinner everyone can agree on.
You can’t really do Fall right without good chili. A chili bar is a really fun way to host a football (or soccer in our case) party at your house or on your tailgate too. We have certainly tried our share of chili recipes but we do have a favorite and it comes from Jaclyn, who blogs over at Cooking Classy.
Slow Cooker Maple Pork Loin with Apples and Onions
Maple Pork Loin with Apples and Onions ~ Delicious, Easy Meal That Tastes Like A Holiday Meal! It’s Tender, Juicy and Full of Flavor! This maple pork loin with apples and onions is where it’s at you guys!! It’s fancy, but not so fancy you couldn’t serve it as a regular meal which is great for this time of year!!
We made this last Fall and we used Apple Cider instead of Apple Juice. It had just been pressed at the mill and let me tell you… This was crazy good. This recipe from Julie’s Eats and Treats includes Maple syrup, cinnamon, and bourbon mixed with apple cider and orange juice, and some garlic which delivers a sauce rich in the best fall flavors. Hello Harvest season! This recipe is certainly deserving of a spot in your dinner rotation. Try it!
Slow Cooker Pot Roast
No-fuss, amazingly fall-apart pot roast recipe made in your crockpot with the most tender vegetables! And the gravy is simply perfection. So I’m not sure if you guys know this but Chicago has some amazing food. Like really really really bomb food. And I’m not just talking about deep dish pizzas or Portillo’s chocolate cake shake.
This pot roast recipe from Damn Delicious is exactly that! You’ll ooooh and aaaaahhh with every last bite! So tender and flavorful and easy!!! Just crazy good!
Slow Cooker Sweet Potatoes with Orange Sauce and Bacon
These sweet-and-salty slow cooker sweet potatoes could not be easier to prep on Thanksgiving morning. Whether you’re looking to save stovetop space or just want to streamline the side dish, these simple sweet potatoes are guaranteed to please.
I used to think I didn’t like sweet potatoes. I was convinced of this as though it were a fact. But then one day someone made me a southern style sweet potato casserole all topped with roasted marshmallows and sprinkled with brown sugar and cinnamon and I couldn’t resist. I gave them one more try. Since then, I have searched for really good sweet potato recipes and this one delivers. Add about a tsp of fresh, finely chopped ginger to the crockpot for an extra punch of flavor that works perfectly with the orange juice.
Instant Pot Beef Bourguignon
Pull out your pressure cooker and whip up this quick and easy Instant Pot Beef Bourguignon and enjoy savory fall-apart tender beef chunks and veggies. If Ina Garten and Julia Child created a beef bourguignon together – this would be it!
I love Beef Burgundy. I really, really love it. But it takes forever and then a little more to do it right. Well, it did until the Instant Pot! This recipe for Beef Bourguignon from Creme De La Crumb is spot on and absolutely spectacular!
Healthier Instant Pot Coq Au Vin
This Healthier Instant Pot Coq au Vin is for those cold fall and winter nights when you want a fancy slow braised chicken, but you want it ready in less than an hour. All made in the instant pot (or the slow cooker), using simple, wholesome ingredients you may already have on hand.
I wish that Tieghan from Half Baked Harvest was my neighbor! I love her cookbooks and her website! Honestly, I have never made a dish from one of her recipes that I didn’t love. Never. T is a huge fan of Coq au Vin and he introduced it to our kitchen last year. He did it the hard way though and it was a long labor of love but worth it in the end. We were both super excited to find out that Tieghan had worked her magic and replicated the dish so deliciously in an Instant Pot recipe. Yum!!!
Instant Pot Pesto Zuppa Toscana
This super simple Instant Pot Pesto Zuppa Toscana is the perfect cold-weather dinner…great for nights when I’m craving Italian, but want something warming too. Spicy Italian chicken sausage simmered in a creamy basil pesto broth with potatoes, kale, a little lemon, and even a little bacon.
So I have been making Toscana Soup at my house forever. It takes a long time. Tieghan’s recipe is super quick and oh so satisfying. Also, it’s a lot healthier than mine which uses an entire sheet pan of bacon. This is perfect for late Fall nights!
Instant Pot Creamy Brussel Sprouts
This is the ultimate quick and delicious brussel sprouts recipe! Made with cream cheese, more cheese and bacon these low carb Instant Pot Brussel Sprouts will become your new favorite way to prepare brussel sprouts!
Like the sweet potato, I once believed I despised Brussel Sprouts. I feel so guilty now. These delicious, little babies just need to be prepared correctly and they are wicked good! This instant pot recipe from Diet Hood delivers an amazing side dish in no time at all and seriously, ridiculously yummy!
Instant Pot Spiced Apple Cider
This post may contain affiliate links. Please read my disclosure policy. This delicious homemade apple cider recipe is super-easy to make in the Crock-Pot, Instant Pot or on the stovetop. It’s made simply with apples, warming spices, water, and your choice of sweetener. And it is so comforting and delicious.
This apple cider recipe from Gimme Some Oven is so FALL! I do alter it by preparing it using the orange zest only and removing the rind. I don’t care for the bitterness of the rind but that is a personal preference. This is perfect for cold nights and is extra warming when provided a kick of Rum.
